Remote Working in The Video Game Industry

Awarded "More Awesomer" award in Game Development

'From Paris to Berlin' : Remote Working in the Video Game Industry is the dissertation project I conducted in 2020. The project takes the form of a booklet that is authored as the result of my research into the growth of remote working practices in recent years.

The text serves as informational, and provides definitions of remote working and what it means for the industry. A very topical piece for it's time, it was inspired by the lack of peer-reviewed resources on game industry workflow and serves as a window into industry practice, Home and flexi-working, Policy in the video game industry, workers rights and other topics of consideration. Choc full of guidelines and advice, this project provides a good starting point for further peer study, as remote working grows, changes and develops.
